Got a Lot o' Livin' to Do!" is a song first recorded by Elvis Presley as part of the soundtrack for his 1957 motion picture Loving You. The song was written by Aaron Schroeder and Ben Weisman. The latter, a songwriter from New York, came (according to the book Elvis Day by Day, „presumably in hopes of seeing that his song, "Got a Lot O' Livin' to Do," be included in the soundtrack ) to the recording studio in Hollywood where Presley was working on the songs for the movie.

1957 soundtrack album by Elvis Presley. Cole Porter's "True Love", written for the 1956 musical film High Society, also made the album, either to feature a straightforward romantic song, or to give Presley and The Jordanaires an excuse for some close harmony singing. The practice of RCA augmenting soundtrack recordings with extra songs from non-soundtrack studio sessions to bring up the running time of the LP to acceptable lengths would become a commonplace occurrence with Presley soundtracks through the 1960s. RCA reissued the original 12-track album on compact disc in 1988 . Got a Lot o' Livin' to Do" (finale). Aaron Schroeder and Ben Weisman.

Elvis Aaron Presley (January 8, 1935 – August 16, 1977) was an American singer and actor. Regarded as one of the most significant cultural icons of the 20th century, he is often referred to as the "King of Rock and Roll" or simply "the King". Presley was born in Tupelo, Mississippi, and relocated to Memphis, Tennessee, with his family when he was 13 years old. His music career began there in 1954, recording at Sun Records with producer Sam Phillips, who wanted to bring the sound of African American music to a wider audience.
Artist: Elvis Presley ( Elvis Aron Presley). Album: Loving You. Translations: French. Got a Lot o' Livin' to Do. Oh yes I've got a lot o' living to do. A whole lot o' loving to do. Come on baby, to make a party takes two. And there's no one who I'd rather do it with-a than you. There's a moon that's big and bright in the milky way tonight. But the way you act you never would know it's there. So baby, time's a wasting.
